XDEFI Wallet has released a major update, which includes an improved user interface, support for the Polygon network, and more.
XDEFI Wallet — the browser extension of choice for THORChain users, has recently released a major 3.0 update that includes support for the Polygon network.
Polygon is an Ethereum Layer-2 that enables fast, cheap transactions on the Ethereum blockchain. In order to use this network, you do need to migrate tokens via a bridge (we recommend Zapper).
To interact with Polygon from the XDEFI Wallet extension, toggle the “injection provider” from the network menu.
The update also includes HD Wallet support, which improves compatibility when importing your secret phrase from other wallet providers like MetaMask, MyEtherWallet, etc.
Ledger hardware wallets can now be connected to XDEFI for added security. Currently, only Ethereum-based assets are supported while using this integration, but support for native RUNE, Bitcoin, and Litecoin will be coming soon.
Over the next few months, the XDEFI team will shift focus to further improving the user interface to make the wallet experience even better.
