For the first time in history, THORChain has sharded its Asgard Vaults.
After the latest node update, THORChain, for the first time in history just sharded its Asgard Vaults. There are now two.

There are now two.

This is a major milestone.
Sharding is a type of partitioning in which a large Database is divided or partitioned into smaller data, also known as shards. These shards are not only smaller, but also faster and hence easily manageable.
This is important because the system can grow nodes upto 100+, sharding the vaults as it goes with a high possibility of becoming exponentially faster.
So now TSS is no longer the limit to scaling. The system can grow nodes up to 100+, sharding the vaults as it goes.

Conceivably around 250+ nodes is possible.
At 250nodes, there would be 7 Asgard vaults, and 250 ygg vaults.
System throughput is 250+ swaps per second.
THORChads are problem solvers and have demonstrated this many times over.
