Maya Masks are the official NFT genesis collection that will represent the Maya Protocol community. Exact date for launch is TBA but the team is targeting mid June.
Maya is building valuable utility to the Maya Masks project, including an airdrop of $MAYA/$AZTEC and daily staking rewards in $CACAO. More info to come.
Maya Masks will initially mint on Ethereum, then migrate onto Maya's native blockchain. The team decided to do this as they want to have the biggest exposure for Maya Protocol as possible, which is currently on Ethereum.
The genesis Maya Mask collection will have 6060 unique masks. Mint price is TBA.
Santiago Barba is the craftsman behind the masks. He is a Mexican musician, sculptor and graphic designer. Santiago has worked in the creation and development of creative environments in music videos, commercial identities, advertising and video art.
